Coastland’s Partner in Bringing Wake Sports to Everyone

At Coastland Apparel, wakeboarding, surfing, and other wake sports are our passions. We’ve spent the last few years striving to create the best wakeboarding and surf apparel around, in order to provide our customers outdoor apparel that reflects our common passions. But we’re much more than just an apparel company — we strive to use our resources and our platform to give back whenever we can. PIF Watersports and #PassTheHandle — Promoting Wakeboarding and Wakesurfing

As part of our mission to give back to the community whenever possible and promote the sports we love far and wide, we have partnered with PIF Watersports and Pass the Handle to spread the joy of wake sports. PIF Watersports is an organization based on Lake Norman, just outside of Charlotte, NC, that promotes sports such as wakeboarding and wakesurfing through the Pass the Handle initiative. Pass the Handle and Coastland have a shared mission of bringing the joy of getting outside and on the water to everyone, regardless of their circumstances. We believe in helping wounded veterans, people with financial restrictions or physical disabilities, and anyone else who wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to get out on the water. We understand the value of the perfect shared moments with family and friends that wake sports can offer, and we believe everyone should be able to have the opportunity to experience this.

PIF Watersports and their Pass the Handle program is extremely passionate about wakeboarding and wakesurfing, and their goal is also to bring these activities to as many people as possible. The organization features numerous free events throughout the year as part of the Water Sports Industry Association’s #PassTheHandle initiative, and offers private lessons to help everyone progress in these sports.
